Your journal stays with you.

Journal entries and checklist selections are stored in your browser’s local storage. This site does not send those records to the author or synchronize them between devices. Anyone who can use the same browser profile may be able to see them. Clearing browser data can delete them. Export journal records regularly.

Browsing and third parties

This site does not include advertising pixels. If you arrive through a tagged campaign link, its source and campaign labels may be saved for this browser tab and associated with a later purchase so the author can understand which links bring readers to the book. Hosting providers may process standard connection and security logs, including IP addresses. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts. Following an external link, takes you to a service with its own privacy policy.

Purchases

Direct PDF checkout is being prepared. When available, payments are processed by Stripe, which collects your purchase email and payment information. The author keeps your email, order reference, payment status, amount and optional email preference to deliver the book and provide support. This site does not receive your full card details or sell alcohol. A checkout cookie associates your browser with your order for up to 30 days; paid download links expire after 24 hours and can be renewed from the order page in the purchasing browser. For a download problem, incorrect charge or refund request, contact the author below.

Email preferences

Your purchase email is retained for order support. Promotional emails require the separate, optional checkbox at checkout; it is unchecked by default. You can withdraw that permission by emailing the author. No newsletter is automatically sent by this version of the site. Order records are retained for support and required business records; contact the author to request access, correction or deletion where applicable.

Using the educational content

The guides and tools are educational resources for adults of legal drinking age. Conditions vary by region, grape, equipment and wine. Follow applicable local rules and product labels. Calculators give estimates and cannot certify fermentation completion, microbial stability or bottling safety. When a decision depends on laboratory results or local growing conditions, consult an appropriate specialist.
